History

Camping Resort Sanguli Salou opened in 1972 as a tourist resource in Salou, province of Tarragona. The first camping pitches were laid out and the first swimming pool was built on an original plot of 2 hectares, and with a staff of 10.
After a few years, the increasing tourist demand in Salou and on the Costa Dorada encouraged us to undertake a preliminary expansion, which increased the grounds to 6 hectares, and included sports facilities, another swimming pool and restaurant and commercial services.

The final enlargement and our quantum leap occurred between 1991 and 1992, when new land was acquired for camping areas, and the third swimming pool area, the amphitheatre, another bar and the first 16 Bali bungalows were built. Thus the Sanguli Resort, a bungalow park with top-quality bungalows and mobile homes, came into creation. Sangulí Salou Bungalow Park completed its final phase of expansion in 2006, with construction of the most colourful and attractive bungalows in Salou, the Costa Dorada, Tarragona, Catalonia and all of Spain: the Paradise Villas!

Camping Sangulí Salou today covers an area of 27 hectares, can accommodate 5.000 people, and has a professional staff of 300. We have state-of-the-art sports facilities, a fitness room, 3 themed swimming pool areas, an amphitheatre which is unique throughout the area, entertainment and shows, a gift shop selling international newspapers, supermarkets, take away meal service, medical service, laundry, bakery and a wide range of restaurants, entertainment and leisure options.
