LET'S LOOK AFTER OUR PLANET

In Camping Resort Sangli Salou (Tarragona) we're aware of how important it is to take steps to safeguard our planet, and that's why we've set up a series of policies to encourage sustainability and water and energy savings.

We invite you to collaborate with us to protect the environment by using our facilities responsibly. Our children will thank us tomorrow.

Electric cars

To reduce our CO2 emissions, we've replaced a large number of the vehicles we use in many of the departments inside the holiday park with small electric cars. A useful and environmentally-friendly tool which avoids gas emissions.

Selective waste collection

You'll find several selective rubbish collection points in various areas around the park where you can sort your waste into different kinds, and this is regularly collected and taken to the recycling plant.

Eco-friendly bags

All our customers who reserve a stay of over one week will receive a free eco-friendly bag so they can do their shopping without having to use regular plastic bags. Using this exclusively-designed bag for our environmental campaign will help to avoid the accumulation of plastic which is smothering our Costa Dorada, and other areas.

Home delivery service

To cut down on the use of plastic bags we've set up a free delivery service. You can request this service when you buy a minimum of 40 euros' worth of goods, and your shopping will be delivered to your pitch and/or bungalow. With this initiative we hope to improve our service and help conserve our planet.

Energy savings

We've reduced our consumption of electricity by installing energy-efficient light bulbs in bungalows and facilities.

Solar panels

The use of solar panels allow us to save energy needed to heat the water in the Relax Pool (pool entry), as well as toilets 1.

Water savings

Thanks to a series of steps we have taken in Camping Resort Sanguli Salou (Catalonia), we have managed to reduce our consumption of water by 30%.

Every day we recycle 100,000 litres of grey waters from swimming pools and showers, which are treated and re-used for watering and in the toilets of our bungalows.
Our swimming pools make it possible to combine fun for our customers with care of the environment. By reducing the depth of some of our swimming pools, we have decreased the supply of water to the bathing areas by up to 375 cubic metres

All the toilets in the holiday park are equipped with water-saving filters so that a substantial amount of water can be saved in showers, sinks, etc without any loss of pressure.
We also aim to reduce the consumption of water in car-wash areas by installing a pressure washer, and by limiting the car-wash times.
